Vase TINI - porcelain art from Thuringia
IS BORN FOR THE MOMENT,
THE REAL REMAIN
UNLOST TO POSTERIMITY.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 'Faust I', 1808
This vase has a special story. The model with the beautiful name TINI was manufactured by the Weimar Porcelain Manufactory in Blankenhain in Thuringia from 1967 to the 1980s. The factory was closed forever in 2018.
The vase was rediscovered by Susanne Katzenberg in her project UNVERLOREN 2019. She saved the raw form from the old factory and now has it produced completely by hand in the finest bisque porcelain and in two sizes by a Thuringian manufacturer.
By purchasing a TINI vase, you are not only giving yourself a unique gift. You are also helping to preserve a piece of the oldest craftsmanship in the Thuringia region and a piece of GDR design for the future.
